-ad hoc/for a particular purpose/特定目的，临时的

-ad lib/improvise/即兴
例句：The comedian decided to ad lib when he forgot his lines.
-ad infinitum/forever/永久的，无尽头的
例句：Their debate seemed to go on ad infinitum.
-alma mater/your university/母校
例句：She donated to her alma mater generously.
-bona fide/in good faith, genuine/真诚的，出于好意的
例句：The company's bona fide offer reassured the clients.
-carpe diem/seize the day/把握今天，活在当下（我认识好几个人微信签名档就是carpe diem）

-caveat/condition/条件
